Sandy Ullmann Phillips is Palma Ceia Presbyterian’s new Godly Play Coordinator. If she looks familiar, it may be because she was a nursery teacher at PCPC during high school and college, and probably cared for many who are now parents of little ones at PCPC!
Sandy is a graduate of Plant High School, has her B.A. in Elementary Education from USF, and received her Master’s in Christian Education from Presbyterian School of Christian Education. She worked as Director of Christian Education at two other PC(USA) Churches in Texas and Trinity Presbyterian in Clearwater. She is currently a second grade teacher in Hillsborough County where she has worked for the last 20 years. She became a member of PCPC 40 years ago. Sandy and her husband Mike live in Tampa. She enjoys singing, playing the ukulele, and spending time with her siblings, nephews, and niece.
Sandy says, “I’m seeking to follow God’s call on my life, using the experiences and skills which I have been blessed with throughout my life.”
