The God of Life: An Introduction to Liberation Theology
Sundays, October 25th through November 22nd, Class recordings released weekly, Zoom discussions at 9am
Led by Will Wellman. Developed in 1960s in the wake of the Second Vatican Council, Liberation Theology re-examined Christian faith from the perspective of the marginalized and poor. Since that time, Liberation Theology has grown into a global movement that seeks to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ in light of contemporary economic, spiritual, and social concerns. This class will study the history and thought of Liberation Theology as well as discuss its continuing relevance for the church today. Email will@palmaceia.org to get on the class email list.
