This class will introduce one of the greatest spiritual thinkers of the 20^th century, the Trappist monk Thomas Merton. Join us on Sunday mornings through May 28th to learn about Merton’s life and works; we will additionally explore some of his influences from the Christian mystical tradition including Origen, Bernard of Clairvaux, John Ruysbroeck, and others.
