Refugee Sewing Classes

Volunteers are needed to assist with RAMWI Sewing Classes beginning Thursday, August 15 for twelve weeks. The Sew Together classes are organized and professionally taught by two faith-based organizations, with assistance from volunteers who have a heart for service, and an interest in sewing and crafting.  The small classes depend on volunteers who are trained to work with refugees, but sewing skills aren’t required. Classes are held each morning through lunch at Temple Terrace Presbyterian Church at 420 Bullard Parkway, Temple Terrace, FL, 33617. Your commitment doesn’t have to be for every class, but the first six are the most important. To volunteer, please contact Florence Ackey with a text at (813) 732 4190 or by email at rmwitampa@gmail.com.
