Christmas Eve 2022

4:30pm: This Family Service of Lessons & Carols is preceded by an extended prelude of piano students playing Christmas tunes at 4:00. Then, the service begins at 4:30. Both of the PCPC Children’s Choirs will sing several Christmas favorites. Rev. Nicole Partin Abdnour will offer a Christmas Eve Meditation, and we’ll pray and sing O Come All Ye Faithful and O Little Town of Bethlehem together. View the bulletin here.

6:00pm: “Nativity in a Bag” Interactive Candlelight Christmas Eve Service in the Courtyard with stable animals. This service is designed particularly for young families and lasts about 30 minutes. It includes an interactive “Nativity in a Bag” for children, carol singing, special Christmas guitar & brass music, & Silent Night with candlelight. View the bulletin here.

7:00pm: Contemporary Christmas Eve Service in the Gym with Communion. This service will feature several scripture readings, each followed by a piece of music from the Praise Band. A Christmas Homily by Rev. Kenny Hubbell is entitled “The Light That Finds Us.” The service concludes with the passing of candlelight.

8:00pm & 11:00pm: Christmas Eve Candlelight Service in the Sanctuary with Communion. Special Christmas prelude music begins half an hour before the service begins. Rev. John DeBevoise will offer a Christmas Eve meditation. The service concludes with the lighting of Christmas candles and the singing of Silent Night by candlelight.
