Lord, Bring an end to senseless shooting and killing. Bring an end to crazy hatred that only hurts and never solves. With the power and presence of your justice and peace restrain evil and eliminate terror. Strengthen and bless those who serve in harm’s way to work for the peace and justice of others. Give clarity, wisdom and energy to those called responding to crisis and trouble. Support those who grieve and bring healing to those wounded. Show us a more excellent way. Bring again the power of your resurrection love into places and hearts that only see death.
