Lord, Bring an end to senseless shooting and killing. Give clarity, wisdom and energy to those called to respond to crisis and trouble. Support those who grieve and bring healing to those wounded. Strengthen and bless those who serve in harm’s way to work for the peace and justice of others. Protect students and teachers on every campus. Show us a more excellent way. Bring again the power of your resurrection love into places and hearts that now only see death. In the mission and name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
