Volunteer at PCPC
Volunteers are an important part of supporting our Church family. We must rely on volunteers to do the Lord’s work through many programs at Palma Ceia Presbyterian. Church members, or regular attendees, are invited to join a variety of teams that contribute to the life at Palma Ceia Presbyterian.
To view all Palma Ceia Presbyterian volunteer opportunities click:
Click Register to get started – a one time registration is required to use the volunteer website.
Once you register, select the teams you want to join by clicking Connect with My Church and Local Ministries and you will be notified by email when new needs are posted. You can manage your preferences by clicking: Log In.
If you do not see an opportunity to use your talents or gifts, you may also contact the church office, a pastor or anyone on the staff and they can guide you to the appropriate program director. You can reach the church at 813-253-6047 or send an email to receptionist@palmaceia.org with your contact information and a general description of how you would like to volunteer.
Below is a more detailed description of some specific volunteer opportunities.
Children and Youth Volunteers
One of the most valuable and vulnerable assets at Palma Ceia, is our children and youth. If you would like to volunteer your time or talents to, or are currently volunteering in, programs involving children and youth please click Child and Youth Volunteers for more information.
Driving the Church Bus
Several ministries at Palma Ceia include providing transportation to members and those in our community. Anyone who is interested in volunteering to drive the church Mini-Bus or that may use a personal vehicle for church needs/business must meet the Presbytery and the PCPC insurance requirements. These requirements include allowing Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church to obtain a current motor vehicle record (MVR) and keep a copy of the volunteer’s drivers license and personal insurance on file.
For more detailed information on the requirements and how to volunteer to drive the Mini-Bus or use a personal vehicle for church business, click this link Driver Instructions – Bus and personal vehicles
