Mary Lee Johnson

After graduating in Creative Writing at the University of South Florida, Ms. Johnson worked in Public Relations at WEDU, the local Public Broadcasting Station in Tampa, and as the Stagebill Editor at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. She worked for several non-profit organizations and wrote newsletters before opening Brown Bag Organics, a small business that focused on organic products and healthy eating.

Mary Lee is an administrative assistant for the Christian Education Department at PCPC and additionally provides support for Special Events, Sports Camps, Sunday School activities and annual workshops at PCPC.

She is the author of three books, The Goals Book for Christian Living (2007), My Grandmother’s Shakespeare (2013), and 6 Degrees of Film: The Future of Film in the Global Village (2013), Ms. Johnson has been published in Animal Wellness, Dogtopia, and Presbyterian Today. Mary Lee has been an online blogger since 2007 and edits and writes for an online magazine and newsletter.

A native Floridian, Ms. Johnson lives in Tampa with her mother and an ever-widening menagerie of pets.
