Join us for Family Movie Night, hosted by PCPC’s Children’s Ministry team, on Friday, March 2 at 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to spend time together and to meet other families in the church. We will have hot dogs and popcorn and watch “Marmaduke”, the comedy about that lovable Great Dane who means well as he tries to fit into a new environment, but wreaks havoc wherever he goes. “Marmaduke” is a PG rated, Dove award winning movie that received the “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.

Beth-El Farmworker Ministry Food Drive (Feb 1-29)

During the month of February, we will have a month long food drive for Beth-El Farmworker Ministry. Hard freezes have severely affected many crops in the Ruskin/Wimauma area which resulted in lost jobs for the farmworkers and increased their need for support. The poorest of the poor have lost some of their previous income. Over 600 families in Wimauma depend on Beth-El for a bag of groceries each week. Please consider donating the following food items to assist them:

Rice
Pinto Beans
Canned Goods (tomato sauce, fruit, processed meat, corn or pasta)
Gift Cards (from Walmart, Winn Dixie or Publix)

Kindly drop these items off at these designated areas in the church: the Narthex, the Fellowship Hall and inside the door to the Gym. To compliment this month long food drive, our very own talented Roger Sullins (Contemporary Music Leader) will celebrate his 50th birthday with a “Food Drive – Jam Session” on Friday, February 24 from 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. in Ybor City at Roosevelt 2.0. Christian Life Enrichment Resources (CLER)

Linda Beckham will be leading a Human Sexuality Class for all 5th grade boys and 4th & 5th grade girls and their parent(s). This year, you have your choice of dates – either Sunday, February 26 or Sunday, March 4. Both classes will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in Covenant Hall, Room 310. A pizza lunch will be served. Registration is $20 per child (this includes materials). This class is open to the community. Click here to download the registration form.

Tapestry Women’s Ministry Retreat (Mar 2-4)

Please join the Tapestry Women’s Ministry for “Guide my Feet: A Lenten Retreat for Women” at Cedarkirk Camp and Conference Center in Lithia. The retreat is designed to enhance the participants’ spiritual preparation for Easter and the celebration of the Resurrection. There will be meditation time, worship, singing by the campfire, canoeing, walking and more! The retreat begins on Friday, March 2 at 5:30 p.m. and ends on Sunday, March 4 after morning worship. The cost is $65 and includes lodging and all meals. The registration deadline is February 15.
