This Weekend in Worship…

Traditional Service (8:30 & 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary)
In the Sanctuary Pastor John DeBevoise is preaching a sermon called “Stop, Look & Listen,” from the lectionary reading in Isaiah and James, which in both cases speaks of the power of our words, and the potential of our ears.
The Offertory is “Piano Trio in B flat Major, K. 254 Allegro assai” by W. A. Mozart, with Callan Downing on the violin; Hillary McLauchlin on the piano; and Harrison Lorenzen on the cello.

Connection Service (9:00 a.m. in the Gym)
Pastor David Bonnema is preaching in The Connection. The sermon title is “Stargazing,” and the Song of Preparation is “Touch the Sky.”

Children’s Sunday School Classes begin again this week, and many new classes for adults begin, too! (Listed below.)

Vespers Service (6:00 p.m. in the Chapel)
This service utilizes scripture readings, contemplation, and prayer. It lasts about half an hour and includes the sacrament of communion, and this weekend includes The Sacrament of Baptism.

The observation of the Sabbath begins Saturday evening with Worship at Bel-Mar Presbyterian at 5:30pm. The service will be led by Rev. Michael Peacock.

We look forward to seeing you!
