Annual Donation Drives

Annually the Social Work Committee hosts donation drives for local mission partners. During each collection period the specific needs are listed on the website events as well as at the collection bins around the church. Contact BJ Johns for questions or more information.

Faith Cafe’– An interdenominational ministry for homeless men, women and children tries to keep the Angel Closet stocked with casual clothes, shoes, sleeping bags & blankets, winter clothing and toiletries year round for their guests in need.  Items can be dropped off any time of the year to the bins located outside Fellowship Hall.

July: Backpacks and School supplies are collected for the children that participate in the PCPC FED program and children in the Beth-El farmworker community.

September: Winter clothing is collected for the students at Just Elementary. Warm clothing for children ages 3-12 years old, new or gently used, increases attendance during the inclement weather.

October & March: Food is collected twice a year to stock the pantry at Beth-El’s facility in Wimauma.  The ministry distributes food bags to an average of 400 families per week. A list of the needed nutritional food items is available during the collection month.

November through December: PCPC supports several Christmas Giving Opportunities for local and international outreach communities. Details for each ministry need are made available starting in mid-November.
