|Final Christian Faith and Ecology Class
August 24 at 10:05 a.m., Room E307
|Summer is a great time to examine how our faith connects us with creation, “the earth and all that is therein.” (Psalm 24:1) Have we been good stewards of God’s earth? Under the leadership of seminarian Will Wellman (B.S. Environmental Horticulture, M.S. Forestry UK, and M.Div Princeton) PCPC is offering a Sunday morning class on Christian faith and ecology. The class examines how Christians are seeking to understand ecological issues better and discern what is a faithful response. We will examine Biblical and theological responses to ecological issues and learn what Christians around the world are doing regarding these issues. The class runs through August 24th. It will meet in E307. Everyone is invited, and to drop in at any time.|

The Sunday morning class has been a fascinating study of God’s word about ecology, man’s role in exercising dominion over creation, and how we are stewards of the planet. |Circle 8 New Study: Companions in Christ
New Members Welcome
|Sometimes you need a small group to help you feel a sense of belonging to the larger church. Circle 8 is a small group of loving and wonderful women (with about 20 active members) that would like to invite women of all ages to visit a circle meeting and consider becoming a member. We meet on the first Tuesday of the month. We have dinner together and then we discuss a reading and this year we will be reading Companions in Christ: The Way of Grace. Our emphasis is on practicing our faith in our relationships and interactions. Please join us. Email Candace Watson if you are interested or have questions. We are one of eight circles, all of whom welcome new members. If our schedule is inconvenient for you or you’d like to investigate other circles, please email Jennifer Pandolfi.|
