Mid-week Lenten Worship ServiceToday at 12:00 p.m., Chapel
Throughout Lent, there will be mid-day, mid-week worship services onWednesdays at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel. These services last 30 minutesand include scripture readings, prayer, quiet contemplation, music and

the Sacrament of Communion. These services will continue through the last

Wednesday in Lent on April 16.

Wednesday Night DinnerTonight at 5:30 p.m., Fellowship Hall
Tonight is taco night! All April birthdays will be honored with a free meal during the month. The cost is $5.00 per person with a maximum of $15.00 per family. Iced tea, salad bar and dessert are included. You may purchase ticket booklets in the church office or make a reservation by emailing Bruce Farnell.
Seeking Names for Elder Class of 2017April 4,  Submission Deadline
The Officer Nominating Committee is going to begin meeting for the purpose of proposing a slate of nominees for the Session Class of 2017.  If you’d like to place a name in nomination (your own or someone else’s), please email the chairperson of the ONC, Steve Barber or the ONC’s staff person, Rev. Nicole Abdnour by April 4. Other members of the Officer Nominating Committee are: Tony Buntyn, Sara Bartos, Marc Turner, Ruthanne McLean, Kathy Castro, and Sally Speer.Who would make a good elder?  A member who is “a person of faith, dedication, and good judgment.  Their manner of life should be a demonstration of the Christian gospel, both within the church and in the world” (Book of Order, G-6.0303).
Family Lenten EventApril 6 from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m., Gym
If you liked Stone Soup, you’ll love our new family Lenten event. Families & friends of all ages are invited to gather in the Gym for a variety of activities where we’ll bake, craft & investigate the Lenten season with a variety of activities. It all begins at 4:30 p.m. and will conclude with a lasagna dinner and songs of faith at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. This “Lent to Lasagna” event is a PCPC first, so don’t miss out!
NET Men’s Study and BreakfastApril 11 at 7:00 a.m., Fellowship Hall
All men are invited for fellowship and a discussion, led by Aaron Burke, Pastor of Radiant Church Tampa. The discussion will be based on  Derek Maul’s book 10 Life Charged Words: Real Faith for Men. The Presbytery of Tampa Bay is having a Group Day with the Rays! Come join your fellow Presbyterians to see the Rays take on the Indians on Friday, May 9, 7:10 p.m. start time. As a mission, you may also wish to consider purchasing an extra ticket or two for donation to Beth-El Mission in Wimauma. Families there are unable to afford even the discounted price and our gifts will enable some of them to attend the game with us. PLEASE DESIGNATE Beth El Farmworker Ministry on your order form if you choose to do this. Vacation Bible School 2014June 9 – 13 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.April 14 – Registration Opens to the Public
At Son Treasure Island, children will discover the rich treasure of God’s love through the life of Jesus! PCPC members – turn your forms in soon! Registration opens to the public on April 14. The cost is $50 per child, with a $125 maximum per family. Click here to download a registration form online or pick one up in the church office. Nursery care/age-appropriate lessons will be available for all children of teachers/helpers aged infant-3 years for those who volunteer for a full week. We would be excited to have you as a teacher or helper or to work in recreation, crafts or snacks. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Director Carrie Fowler or Shannon Pierson.


Helping Hands Service Camp at Cedarkirk
Are you looking to learn more about God’s call to mission?  The Helping Hands Service Camp at Cedarkirk invites middle school and high school campers to explore the little and big ways we can serve God in the world around us.  Let’s join together in fun and service to further God’s kingdom.  Campers receive service hours for their help. Click here to learn more about the camp programs or register online. If you have any questions, contact the camp office at (813) 685-4224.

Calling all PCPC guitar strummers for jam sessions and possible ongoing guitar guild.
