Beginning June 1st, PCPC welcomes Savanah Stone, the Youth Ministry Resident. Savanah will be providing support to all the Youth activities for the next year. She will be traveling with some of the trips this summer before spending more time at the PCPC campus. Below is a personal note from Savanah.
Hello! My name is Savanah Stone, and I’m a youth ministry major from Lee University!
I love to run, watch Disney movies, and take my cat, Redina, on walks. I hope to complete my first half marathon by the end of the year.
I love being a part of youth ministry because the teenage years are the time when individuals are building who you are. I believe students have the power to make a tangible, passionate difference in their community that sometimes adults can’t accomplish. I love being around youth because there is as much that I can learn from them as they can from me.
I think God uses those who are most willing and trusting in Him to further His kingdom, but I know His heart delights in a young person loving Him and being obedient to His will most. I’m so pumped to be at Palma Ceia and can’t wait to see God has in store for us!
Peace be with you!
