Welcome Reverends Jeroen Jeroense and Karin Spelt!

PCPC has very much enjoyed having with us as associate members Col. and Mrs. Simon Wouda (Caroline), and their three boys (Rinka, Tinka, and Rein). Col. Wouda is the liaison from the Dutch Army to Central Command at MacDill Air Force Base. Simon, Caroline, and their family are members of the Dutch Reformed Church in the Netherlands — our ancestors in the Presbyterian faith. Their pastors in the Netherlands, out of the Dutch Reformed Church, are coming to visit for two weeks after Easter. They are a clergy couple whose names are Reverend Jeroen Jeroense and Reverend Karin Spelt.

They’ll be using their Continuing Education Leave to study at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church. They hope to study the worship services, youth ministry, the way in which we do christian education, our fellowship together, and some of the area ministries we support. We’ve invited them to preach in the Sanctuary and to bring greetings in the Connection on Sunday, April 10th. Please welcome them as you find them visiting around the campus during this period. They will be leaving us to return to the Netherlands on Sunday, April 17th.
